LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his SUV crashed into a Las Vegas bus stop and injured several people, two of them seriously.

Police say Daniel Cronin of Las Vegas was northbound on Rainbow Boulevard on Saturday when his SUV ran off the roadway and struck four people on the sidewalk near a bus shelter.

They say 21-year-old Dorothea Jasarevic-Clark of Las Vegas was critically injured and a 9-year-old girl was seriously injured, while the other two people suffered moderate and minor injuries.

Cronin and a 25-year-old female passenger in his SUV escaped with minor injuries.
